  I have been playing Curse of Monkey Island on my old 98 machine and it was working perfectly, until I got to the spot where I needed to take the map off the sunbather\'s back. At that point my machine froze and I had to shut it down. I\'ve tried numerous times with no luck. I have also tried running the game on my XP in compatibility mode but it plays for a while but then disappears from the screen and is gone. Is there a patch for the 98 or the XP that will help or some other fix so that I can finish this game?   A few years ago I had to make a saved game for someone with the same problem. He had a Geforce 2. I got the save using an old computer with a Matrox Mystique, which is a much older video card. You could try reducing video and audio acceleration, but that didn\'t work for the other person. You could also try playing it in XP using ScummVM Curse of Monkey Island is supposed to be compatible with it. Let me know if you want to go the saved game route.

  I (or someone else) would have to play past the problem area from your save, then return it to you.   I\'m not sure I understand that one yet, I have the first two Monkey Islands which have to be played using it so I guess I\'d better get smart. If you have a save for the 98 I\'ll take it. This old 98 I bought for $100 plays some of the older games that wouldn\'t play on the XP but I don\'t have a clue what video or audio components it has in it.

  If you need that I could do some searching tomorrow to see if I can find out. I\'m quite rusty on how to move around in 98 since it\'s been quite a few years since I had to work with it.

  I agree they should do this. Unfortunately the situation is a bit complicated. They probably invested too much into MI1:SE & MI2:SE, and didn\'t get the return they were hoping for to justify further re-releases. The frustrating part of this is MI3 wouldn\'t require the same level of investment, since it already has good graphics, voices and an orchestral score. Since then, as a result of aquisition by Disney, they ceased being a developer and laid off most of their staff.

  They are however still operating as a publisher. So, they\'d need a business case for enlisting a company to add Steam integration and ensuring the game is compatible up to Windows 8.

Jika ingin mengatur settingan stick, pengaturan getar misalnya klik properties.

  Pilih menu Config > Game Pad > Port 1 > Pad 1. Muncul gambar stick PSX. Di situ tertulis tombol apa saja yg digunakan jika menggunakan keyboard.
