I have scoured the internet looking for info on this ancient joystick to no avail. I picked this thing up from my little brother earlier in the year, he did not need it anymore and now I am trying to find out how to not only connect this to any of my multiple computers but also how to use it within Linux (spec. Debian). I have figured out that it needs an older sound card with joystick port, these have not been made in years however so I can't just order one, unless I go the ebay route and I really don't want to do that. So the question is, would it be possible to say, hack the cable into a more modern port via slice n splice? Or should I go looking for a connector instead? I really don't NEED to use all the buttons on the stick, just to control a plane with one since at the moment I am using a mouse (which I am skilled at but it lacks the feel of flying). Is it even worth it? I really don't want to get rid of a free nice looking joystick and it is even historic as it was the first FCS from Thrustmaster. If worse comes to worse I guess buying a new one that has a more modern interface might be in order but again, free is free and I want to be able to take advantage of the situation if possible.
